TOPPING

Method

  1. 1
    BLEND BASE

Blend 1/4 teaspoon strawberry emulsion into your usual protein Creami base until completely smooth.

  2. 2
    FREEZE

Pour into a Creami pint without exceeding the max-fill line. Freeze upright and level overnight.

  3. 3
    FIRST SPIN

Rest the pint 5 minutes, then process on Regular Ice Cream. If it stays powdery, run one no-liquid Respin before the mix-in.

  4. 4
    MIX-IN THE POUND CAKE

Cut a center well, press in half of one Entenmann's Pound Mini Snack Cake, and run Mix-In.

  5. 5
    SCOOP

Scoop the Creami into a bowl.

  6. 6
    DRIZZLE + SERVE

Finish with 1/2 tablespoon Smucker's Strawberry Flavored Syrup. Eat immediately for the intended texture.

Three keys to success

  1. 1Keep the base otherwise unchanged except for the 1/4 tsp strawberry emulsion.
  2. 2The cake is exactly half of one Entenmann's Pound Mini Snack Cake and goes in on Mix-In, after the first spin.
  3. 3Freeze the pint upright and level overnight; process on Regular Ice Cream, not Lite.

Storage and nutrition

Storage: Keep the unprocessed base frozen upright and level. Add the syrup and process only when ready to eat.

Reheat: N/A. If the processed base is powdery, use a no-liquid Respin before the mix-in.

Lasts: The frozen pre-spin pint keeps up to one week. The finished pint is best immediately after Mix-In and drizzle.
